Born and raised in Moses Lake, WA, Spencer received a Bachelor of Science degree in Earth & Environmental Science from Washington state University in 2020. Spencer previously studied at Big Bend Community College, and while pursuing his degree he worked as a research assistant at the WSU Soil Fertility Lab and as a lab technician at the WSU GeoAnalytical lab.  Spencer has experience as a Geotechnical field and lab technician at Intermountain Materials Testing performing density testing, concrete strength testing, percolation testing, and soil size analysis. In the beginning of 2022 Spencer joined SynTier Engineering, pursuing a career that allows him to work with geospatial data while still being able to explore the outdoors.
